If you haven't already figured it out, the LS1Tech.com EFI Nationals is the place to be if you enjoy cutting lights in your LT- and LS-powered GM hot rod. Anyone who attended Race I in Commerce and saw those effortless 8- and 9-second runs knows what we mean.
Four events were on the calendar for 2005--the second, the TByrne Motorsports North vs. South Shootout, was held on Aug. 6 at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
It was a great day for racing, with temps topping out at 80 degrees and only a puff of wind. On hand to take advantage of Beech Bend's sticky surface were 40 heads-up racers, along with some bracket warriors and the guys and girls who just showed up for a good time.
