In the Stock Turbo finals Jeremy Duncan (in the Syclone) trumped Adam Joadwine's efforts, running 12.3 at 108 to Adam's 14.69 at 92. | Quite a few gifts awaited lucky attendees of the Awards Ceremony and Brunch at Applebee's, thanks to money raised during the raffle and from the generous sponsors. Among them, George Blake of Prime Gears contributed a 4L80E won by Mike Renz, who played the odds by purchasing nearly $300 worth of tickets. Considering the tranny costs over $2,000, this proved a wise investment for Mike, who had blown the tranny in his Typhoon.
Bob Galla's white Ty lost out to Zach Mann's Syclone in the Modified class finals. Bob was running in "please don't break because I drove all the way from Maryland" mode with 93 octane pump gas, which didn't allow for better than 13.34 at 100 mph. This allowed Zach to easily skate to victory running 13.01 at 105 mph. | During a track crew break, the zany cast of attendees held an impromptu foot race to the 330ft mark. Aaron Klinger's nasty spill was only upstaged by Mike Renz running down Eric Manfra, despite having spotted him 20 feet.
