Meanwhile, the car show was still raging all Saturday, straight into late afternoon. |  | 
Just before we headed over to the autocross course, we saw Anthony Powell's '01 SOM WS6 TA. This slammed, 4L60E-equipped 'Bird is just right for cruising the streets in Birmingham, AL, with the T-tops off and the shades on. | 
Air Ride Technologies sponsored the autocross competition, and witnessed over 1,600 hot laps. Several of them were made in Air Ride's own fleet by the staff and Super Chevy hot shoe Tom Lyman.... | 
...Despite some of the late models Air Ride had, the '67 Camaro RS was said to be the most responsive. Unfortunately, this car was stolen from the hotel parking lot before I had a chance to find out for myself. | 
Tragically, several other cars were stolen at the event, too, which Year One graciously offered to help rebuild. Despite this mishap, it was truly another great event. Can't wait until next year! |  |
