A veritable sea of Impala SS's mostly clad in black dominated the landscape in Gateway International Raceway's pit area. In stark contrast to many national level shows, the majority of cars arrived under their own power and didn't just appear on a trailer a mere five minutes from their appointed judging time. These guys and gals pitched tents, mingled, and generally had a good time showing off their pristine rides without displaying animosity toward each other or the judges.
