Despite a floundering economy, each year has managed to be better than the last, and now with the release of the 2010 Camaro-we can only foresee this event getting larger. In addition to increased coverage in GMHTP for 2009, we have also been planning a special treat for the 3rd annual event-a 2010 Camaro Shootout. This GMHTP-sponsored portion of the event will have the fastest street-going fifth-gens pitted against each other in a heads-up race. We are pleased to give the new platform a venue to show its potential, while also promoting the magazine and give 2010 owners a chance to be immortalized on our pages. In addition to regular event coverage, we will also be awarding the winner a feature article in the magazine. The top 2010 Camaro entries in True Street will be chosen for a Sunday run-off, and be given official LSX Shootout shirts and subscriptions to the magazine. The winner also stands to gain an LSX block courtesy of Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center, the premiere source for GMPP and GM parts in the country.
