I had changed the Baer GT-P brakes over to Performance Friction carbon race pads before leaving for Watkins Glen. By the end of the first day they were scraping loudly. I replaced the pads with new ones on Sunday morning but the old ones weren't even close to worn out! Why the noise? I still don't know, but the pads worked super in spite of the grinding!
