When waste gases leave the big PT-70, they rush by an old-school ATR wastegate, shoot into a 3-inch ATR downpipe, and exit through a 2.5-inch Hooker exhaust system before meeting the atmosphere. Davis fabricated the headers himself, which in keeping with this motor's theme, was a real pain. Another trick feature is the relocated tranny cooler under the battery. The cooler's fan can be run manually with a switch, or automatically with a wired-in temp sensor.
