Chevy Camaro Engine
The Last Waltz - Dick Harrell Chevy Camaros
|
Dick Harrell was one of the first people to start shoehorning 427s into Camaros back in the late '60s (before the introduction of the ZL1), so it is all the more fitting that this C5R-derived 427ci LS1-powered Camaro bears his name. All Dick Harrell Edition cars also bare the signatures of Harrell's crack staff from his shops in St. Louis and Kansas City. Similar to GMMG's ZL1s, the Harrell Edition cars also boast ported Holley intakes, Whisper carbon fiber airlids, air conditioning, and full emissions controls. While the big 244/248 duration cam tends to run a bit dirty, the Camaros will still pass the emissions readiness test. The objective was not only creating one of the baddest Chevys ever made, but also to create a drivable, livable car that wouldn't just sit in the garage. View Related Article
