Up until the widebody conversion Mowen's Z28 had been a streetable solid roller nitrous car, but he used this opportunity to apply a custom dark red metallic paint job and convert it to a dedicated race car. Unlike most racecars, though, Ron took meticulous care to restore the Camaro, adding GM flat black undercoat to the undercarriage and actually painting his tubular suspension components Orion Silver.
