1993 Gmc Typhoon
Your author met Bob at the SyTy Nats last year, but it wasn't until the Hot Rod Power Tour that he first heard that familiar whistle from the Maryland-native's DMH electric cutout. For most street driving the cutout is left closed as the fumes exit a MagnaFlow 3-inch exhaust, fed by ATR turbo headers and a 3-inch downpipe. Virtually all the wrenching on this truck was done by Bob himself, including beefing up the 700R4 as well as adding CalTracs traction bars, QA1 adjustable shocks, Energy Suspension bushings, Dynotech driveshafts, and a tubular front suspension.

1993 Gmc Typhoon
Nitto drag radials are the rubber of choice at all four drive wheels, mounted on ZR1 17x9.5 front and 17x11 rear rims. The brakes have also been upgraded using Baer 13-inch binders with Eradispeed drilled and slotted rotors, and aluminum rear drums for weight savings.
