| ENGINE | LS2 6.0 Liters, V-8, 16 valves (OHV) |
| TRANS | Four-speed auto or optional six-speed manual |
| DRIVE | Rear-wheel drive |
What's New?Dead, but LS2 versions are good collectibles.
Advertised Perf0-60 in 5.29 sec. (5.49 with auto trans), 13.83 at 103 mph in the 1/4-mile (13.95 at 99 mph with auto trans)

Why buy?Virtually anything with an LS2 and a T56 is buyable on most accounts, and in this case it finally gives the portly SSR enough grunt to carry its own load. Unfortunately, its price tag and the lack of practicality and public interest was too much to overcome for this retro truck.
2007 Chevrolet Corvette

| ENGINE | LS2 6.0 Liters, V-8,16 valves (OHV) |
| TRANS | Six-speed manual or optional six-speed paddle shift auto |
| DRIVE | Rear-wheel drive |
What's New?Mostly stuff for the wine and cheese crowd, but did they really have to change anything? Steering wheel mounted audio controls for the Bose sound package, enhanced acoustic package for 2LZ package, available two-tone seats, and a power top for the convertible 3LT package. Magnetic Selective Ride Control is now included with the cross-drilled rotors, and Atomic Orange Metallic Tintcoat is now available.
Advertised Perf0-62 in 4.2 sec. (4.1 with Z51 Perf Package), 186 mph top speed, 12.6 at 114 mph in the 1/4-mile, .92g (.98g with Z51) lateral acceleration
Base Price $44,995
Why buy?The Corvette still remains one of the greatest values in performance cars (which at over 40 grand sounds like an odd statement), but it remains true. Plus owning one is an easy pass to a fulfilling love life (physically speaking). Mentally speaking, it will be hard for you to care about anyone more than your Vette. Really the only question is, why not buy it?
2007 Cadillac CTS-V
| HP/TQ | 400 hp, 395 lb-ft |

| TRANS | Six-speed manual |
| DRIVE | Rear-wheel drive |
What's New?There are no changes to the charter member of the V-series.
Advertised Perf0-60 in 4.6 sec., 163 mph top speed, 13.1 at 109 mph in the 1/4-mile
Base Price $51,905
Why buy?If World War II wasn't enough German-butt kicking for you, the LS2 and race-bred suspension should provide all the ammunition you need. Brembo brakes and 3.73 gears also help give you a taste of why the CTS-V race team is so unbelievably successful, without giving up any of the cushy features you'd expect from a Caddy like DVD, navigation, a soft clutch pedal feel, etc.
