MSD Ignition MSC Blaster Coils for LS2/LS7
Last year, MSD released its MSC Blaster Coils for the LS1. This year, it's the same great product but in a whole new application. Gen IVs can now enjoy three times the spark energy as the stock coils while still being a direct plug-in replacement to the stock coils. MSD Blaster Fuel Injection System
MSD (with a little help from the makers of Big Stuff 3) brings affordability to aftermarket fuel injection systems for most any GM V-8, V-6 or 4-cylinder application. A closed loop wideband O2 sensor gives accurate air/fuel readings, while true speed density algorithms provide easy tunability. The Blaster Fuel Injection System (PN 2450) will drive eight high-impedence injectors as well as provide seamless decel fuel cutoff and advanced transient fueling algorithms. It uses only GM TPS, coolant, knock, and MAP sensors (1,2,3, and 4 BAR). RHS Pro Elite Gen III Heads
The Racing Head Service nameplate has been resurrected and its return is announced with these 11-degree heads. In moving the Gen III's valve angle from 15 to 11 degrees, the piston to valve clearance is increased; and, the volume, velocity and atomization of the intake port is dramatically increased. The fully CNC-ported runners are available in 225cc and 210cc intake volumes (with stainless steel 2.04/1.57 or 2.08/1.60 valves), which flow an impressive 320 to 328 cfm at .600-inch lift. The 62cc combustion chambers can easily be shaved down to 36 cc for desired compression. The heavy-duty design features steel rocker stud boss inserts, massive .080-inch thick deck surface, improved valve guide design and a highly efficient water jacket. All Gen III manifolds are compatible, as are aftermarket rocker arms, which have extra clearance from a .500-inch raised valve cover rail. SRP LS1/LS2 Forged Pistons
JE Pistons' more economical offshoot, SRP, has introduced its own line of quality, value-minded pistons for LS1s and LS2s. These high-silicone 4032 aluminum F.S.R. forged pistons are up to 100 grams lighter than competitors'. A variety of compression ratios are possible with flat top and inverted dome configurations with generous valve reliefs. These pistons are aimed at naturally aspirated and moderately boosted street/strip applications and include carbon-steel wrist pins, locks and rail supports.
