East Side's expertise prompted Eric Piner to tow his SS up to the Connecticut shop, to rebuild his 408 after its yearlong side-by-side folly with the crew's car at the 2005 LS1Tech racing series. The 800-plus horsepower nitrous-sniffing 408 utilizes AFR 225-cc heads out of the box and Wheel to Wheel .5-inch head studs, as well as a Lunati rotating assembly, Callies billet main caps, and a COMP Cams XE-R hydraulic roller.
