With the 2007 season already underway, Glenn is out there racing #70 with a freshened long-block and a personal goal to win this year's championship. Many have helped over the last few years, but Glenn particularly credits his wife Tami, their two daughters, his racing teammate Mitch Warren, and his sponsors Argent Lab Radios, Moonlite Printing & Graphics, Natwell Supply Corporation, and Performance Speedtech for their outstanding support. He also cites LG Motorsports as a major influence: "Lou not only helped me get the car class ready and let me use some of his facilities off-hours, but he also gave me a lot of invaluable advice about racing setup and prep." Additionally, Mike Patterson of SCCA T2 fame is owed a great deal for passing on his track strategy experience, or "the chess game of racing." Glenn shared that he has typically raced a full season with the same set of plugs and wires, using about three sets of brake pads and two to three sets of tires per season, dispelling the myth that track racing always requires a ton of thrashing and parts. "Running at the restricted 230 rear-wheel horsepower level keeps these cars from breaking a lot of parts, and makes it an affordable class," says Glenn. He likes to visit Camaro-MustangChallenge.com, AICMCTexas.com, andFrrax.com. He encourages anyone interested in the series to check it out, as it has expanded across the US. Since LAW Motorsports has prepared a few cars for other racers, Glenn is confident that a competitive car can be built for slightly more than $5,000. "I have about $10,000 in #70, but that's because I spent more on the bling than most others." Fellow racers: keep an eye out for Glenn Landrum in 2007-he's looking for the winner's circle at the Nationals.

All non-essential wiring and bracketry have been removed to keep this Camaro at a competitive battle weight. Engine is all stock, but Glenn takes advantage of the rule allowing custom radiators and runs an LG unit. He also uses a 1LE intake elbow. | | Given the series' restrictions on wheel size and weight, it's hard to beat stock salad shooters; Glenn runs a few sets, though he painted them black to spruce them up. |
