Jeffrey Pelc of Long Island, NY, couldn't live without his 1999 SS while stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. He's added a Pro Torque 3,000-stall converter and a handful of bolt-ons to go 12.7 at 107 mph, though he soon plans to add a TNT wet kit to combat the high altitude. For now, TPIS long-tube headers, custom GHG Magnaflow true dual exhaust, MTI air lid, and Shaner S3 throttle body are used for natural aspiration. Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs and black ZR1s, though, are what give the sleek SS its signature look.
