The final Street Heat entry for this issue comes to us all the way from Okinawa, Japan, where US Marine Robert Hastings is currently stationed. His 2000 Camaro SS convertible is the culmination of years worth of hard work along with three separate trips to Iraq! In its current state, Robert’s Camaro makes well over 500 rwhp thanks to a 414 cubic-inch iron block stuffed under the hood along with a set of ported LS7 heads and a rowdy .643/.619-inch lift camshaft cut on a 110 LSA. Robert’s Camaro has all of the supporting modifications you would expect at this level along with a built T56 to bang gears with and a Moser 12-bolt rear to keep the driveline in one piece. Stay safe Robert and make sure you come back in one piece to enjoy your Camaro—you deserve it!
