Hello Guys!
As adamant supporters of the Buick GS Nationals, we really appreciated the great article on the 2008 GS Nationals in your January issue! Wow!! Seven pages of great coverage! Any Buick muscle car owner who has not attended the GS Nationals in Bowling Green, KY each May is missing a great five-day event. Us Buick T-R owners are loyal GMHTP subscribers because you don't forget our dedication to our 21-year old cars!
Also, I noticed that Dan Borden wrote in the "Off the Wire" column about wanting more coverage on third-gen F-bodies because "there are so many of them" compared to Turbo Buick owners. Maybe, Dan, but unlike T-R owners, the F-body owners I know are not into their cars like we T-R owners are.

I don't know exactly how three people could simultaneously write a letter, but it sure proves Turbo Buick guys are close. We appreciate your complements and feedback; it never gets old hearing how wonderful we really are. Having been to the 'Nats, I can certainly agree you guys know how to party.

I may not renew my subscription this time. A couple years or so ago, your then-editor promised SGT Shawn Smith of the Colorado Army Guard (then in Balad, Iraq), "we'll work on doing some Sy/Ty tech..." SGT Smith, myself, and others are still waiting for the promised tech. I realize the Sy/Ty family is low production in comparison to say Camaros, however, I see the huge opportunity for y'all to carry the ball for us. Must be a friendly owner in your area who is renewing a Sy or Ty, and plans modifications later. You could discuss engine management improvements (OBD-I, followed by conversions to piggy-back and stand-alone, more modern stuff). I've enjoyed your magazine for some years now, however I am losing interest in the Camaro du jour with an LS whatever; not that these are not great articles, cool cars, and tremendous engine families, but I find little that applies to the OBD-I managed Turbo 4.3 Chevy. I'll be watching the newsstand for your publication, and will certainly purchase any Sy/Ty articles. Hello to SGT Smith: For Country!

I just saw you did an article in the February '09 issue about the First LS-powered AWD Syclone. I have not had a chance to see it yet, but I do believe I actually have the first one. I have been working on it for a while and had it finished up on the streets in May '08. My Syclone is LS-powered, AWD with a HUGE turbo on it, though. So they may have had the first naturally-aspirated one. I can give them that one. My project is called Project Insanity. The truck as it sits right now is making over 1000 hp at the motor. I had the short-block built and did everything else myself on this truck so far. All in my 10x20 garage.

My apologies Will, but that truck was actually shot back in May '08 and was running by January. None the less, I look forward to seeing and hearing more of your Syclone-it sounds badass!
