Lingenfelter: A name synonymous with performance and progression in the world of power and this time, it's all about the trucks. Lingenfelter just released news that it will be creating first-of-their-kind Signature Edition trucks for 2013 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups.
The two packages that will be available to truck owners are as follows: a Magnuson TVS 1900 Supercharged 5.3L or 6.2L engine (100+ horsepower increase) or a 5.3L or 6.2L Edelbrock E-Force TVS 2300 intercooled supercharger system (100+ horsepower increase). All Lingenfelter engine packages come with a three year/36,000 mile warranty on engine and supercharger.
The first package is designed to provide maximum performance while preserving drivability and reliability - but really, what else would you expect from Lingenfelter? An Eaton four-lobe 160-degree twist, high helix rotor design and a cast aluminum intake manifold base and fuel rails comprise the build, which has a synthetic oil lubrication system requiring no maintenance. It also has a water-to-air heat exchanger and the intake manifold houses an air-to-water intercooler.
The second package is based on the OEM Eaton Supercharger unit and provides excellent drivability and highway fuel mileage due to properly-sized fuel injectors and a Lingenfelter 160-degree thermostat. It is obviously installed, tested, and calibrated by Lingenfelter's professional team to guarantee quality.
"We've expanded our Signature Edition line of vehicles to include supercharged trucks as a direct response to customer requests," said Mike Copeland, Vice President and General Manager at Lingenfelter Performance. "Our truck packages offer substantial power improvement and are available in lifted four-wheel drive with an aggressive off-road look or lowered two- and four-wheel drive for performance enthusiasts."
Lingenfelter's Signature Edition 2013 Chevy Silverado growls with a Corsa stainless steel dual rear exhaust and BDS 6.5-inch lift (covered by lifetime warranty), and features Bestop PowerBoard running boards and an Uncover LUX color-matched bed cover to complete the look. Ultra-brand chrome wheels wrapped in General Grabber AT2 tires keep the truck planted firmly to the ground, and Lingenfelter 3M graphics with reflective lettering make the truck a real head turner. Of course, the owner of the truck has full authority over customization to suit their personal tastes.
