Big-Buck Small-Block Solution - Motown Magic
The Motown block does not have a raised cam like the Rocket block. Even though this limits the stroke to 4 inches, it does simplify the parts compatibility. There are no special timing chains or belt drives required, just normal small-block components. The concern is almost moot because if you can get the additional displacement by means of bore, then you can keep stroke along more traditional dimensions. View Related Article
