We're skipping a lot for space reasons, but here's the finished 4-inch pipe, welded and painted with Krylon black crinkle paint. If you're looking to do this yourself instead of having a fabricator do it, the mandrel bent 4-inch mild steel pipes can be special-ordered from NAPA (it's actually exhaust tubing) for about $70 per bend. We used a 5-inch radius bend and an 8-inch radius bend with straight pipe in between to get our final shape. View Related Article
