Our third-gen Firebird required part of the hood support frame on the passenger side to be cut away in order to provide ample clearance for the 4-inch inlet pipe. The notch in the hood was then sealed with a urethane adhesive sealant from 3M. This will keep rubbing to a minimum and protect the exposed metal from rusting. View Related Article
