Tire pressure is extremely important on a heavy street car with lots of torque. We've got a stock type suspension, 445 lb.-ft. of torque and a 700-4R with a 3.06 first gear ratio. A 2,800-rpm Vigilante converter multiplies the available torque more than two-fold at launch, thus making it very difficult on our Mickey Thompson ET Street tires.
