The swap to the throttle body filter proved to be no improvement on the track. Here, Hunkins discovers why (naturally, after Jensen pointed it out to him!). The inlet air temp on the datalogged runs showed a 40 degree increase from 60 degrees to 100 degrees. We also discovered that our factory tach was way off. Engine speed through the traps showed only 5,200 rpm on the datalog while peak engine power is closer to 5,600 rpm on our 396. We suspect a gear change is in our future.
