Pro Torque Converter Install - Move That Thing
Back at the track on radials and sporting nose damage from a minivan collision, Eric had a much tougher time controlling wheelspin with the Pro Torque converter. His first run with the more efficient converter was made with him leaving at 1700 rpm. He was rewarded with a 2.05 60-foot, and soon after a 14.30 ET was recorded. Bumping the rpm up to 1800 created tons of wheelspin off the line and made for a 2.12 60. Running it out produced a 14.57, but we knew that the all-season 275/40/17 radials would have to be swapped for their stickier counterparts. ET Streets were mounted and ready for action, but eight weeks of rain dashed our hopes for a big ET drop. With Sticky tires to handle the Pro Torque Converts 14s aren't out of the question.
