Cotton drops the center section onto the housing, then secures it with six bolts. To align the turbo correctly, Brian sets an angle finder on the center section and clocks it to 19 degrees before snugging the bolts. These bolts can't be too tight, as the turbo's extreme heat will make them impossible to remove. The inlet housing is clocked to 37 degrees with the compressor housing ring bolts half a turn loose; with the correct angle verified, Brian re-snugs them. View Related Article
