ACCEL Performance Fuel Injectors
Accel's line of high impedance injectors is designed for increased power, improved throttle response and better fuel economy via precise control of fuel delivery and atomization. Unlike some other brands, Accel uses all-new units, instead of remanufacturing used cores. All injectors are flow-tested, balanced, and matched to within 1.5 percent of their flow rating. A Bosch-style pintle design is incorporated for a wide-angle ultra-fine spray pattern, which improves burn efficiency. A low-mass internal needle valve and high-pressure spring activate the injectors, guaranteeing quicker response and a greater dramatic response range. Accel injectors are a direct replacement for TPI, LT1, L67, LC2, and SyTys with injector sizes ranging from 21 lb/hr to 48 lb/hr. LS1s require aftermarket fuel rails. JET Performance Dynamic Spectrum Tuner
You can't tune a fish, but you can tune '96-06 GM Truck or SUV, '96-97 LT1, and '97-05 LS1/LS6 with JET's new Dynamic Spectrum Tuner (DST). Using a laptop or PC, stock programming is downloaded from the vehicle and saved with JET's interface cable, which connects to the vehicle's diagnostic port. Fully CNC Ported LS1 Cylinder Heads
Trick Flow's new CNC ported LS1 cylinder head offers up big performance in a small, reasonably priced package. Massaged 64cc combustion chambers should give a slight bump in compression while providing increased efficiency. The intake runners are increased to 215 cc, and 80 cc on the exhaust side, to make the most of the increased airflow afforded by 2.04 intake and 1.575 exhaust valves angled at 13.5-degrees. Assembled heads (PN TFS-3060T001-C01) come with 1.300-inch dual valvesprings (for up to .650-inch valve lift), bronze valve guides, Viton canister-style valve seals, and titanium retainers. Flow numbers rank in at an impressive 320 cfm at .600-inch lift on the intake and 259 cfm on the exhaust. Bare CNC-ported castings (PN TFS-3061B001-C01) with seats and guides are also available. Crane Cams/Sniper Performance Tuning
Perhaps one of the most user-friendly tuning solutions for your LS1-based vehicle, the Crane Cams/Sniper is available in both the basic Scout or enhanced Special Forces version. The Sniper uses Windows-based tuning that is easy to load with drop-down menus to adjust for performance modifications, tire diameter changes, shift points and firmness, torque converter lock-up, electric fan settings, and even adjusts throttle response in "drive-by-wire" throttle applications.
