Examine the Warhawk LS7X closely and you'll see provisions for LS1 as well as old-school small block Chevy motor mounts. The block is cast from the same 357-T6 aluminum alloy as all of World Products' other engine blocks. World claims it is of much higher yield strength than any of the alloys GM uses. Among other things, this prevents the head studs from being physically stripped out of the engine block under high cylinder pressures; some very fast late models have heretofore had to switch to iron GM blocks to prevent this very problem. World claims that the alloy is so strong that the need for helicoils is actually eliminated.
