Believe it or not, only four nuts hold the entire rear subframe to the C6's mainframe--and you will be shocked how loose they are from the factory. Though these nuts are surely metric, we found that a 13/16 deep socket fit just fine. Start taking them all out, but don't remove them completely yet. By the way, in this photo, you can see the driver-side hydraulic brake line bracket we mentioned earlier (just ahead of the axle). View Related Article
