On older cars that are front to back sheet metal these D.A., or Dual Action, grinders and some Aircraft stripper would be your best friends. However, on a Fourth Gen F-body it is only useful for stripping the quarter panels using 24 and 80-grit paper. The plastic bumper covers and fenders as well as the SMC roof, hatch and doors will require less abrasive means.
