Wrap It Up
Anything made from pulverized lava rock is bound to be awesome, and the new DEI Titanium Exhaust Wrap definitely proves my point. If you are looking for an exhaust wrap capable of withstanding direct contact up to 1,800 degrees and radiant heat up to 2,800 degrees, look no further. Again, this stuff is made from pulverized lava rock that is extruded into fibers and then woven together, which means the new Titanium Wrap can handle much higher temps than before. This helps keep your engine bay cool, your heat soak to a minimum, and your engine wiring from melting. The Titanium Wrap is available in 1-inch and 2-inch widths and both 15- and 50-foot lengths.

Screw Your LSX
Vortech has partnered up with Lysholm Technologies to design and build the new VL Series of superchargers featuring a new Twin-Screw concept. Starting with several systems for both the GM trucks and SUVs, plus tuner kits for any LS-based street rods, the new LV system is guaranteed to wake up any LS project you put it on. Coming in both 2.3L and 3.3L compressors, these systems are designed to produce maximum down-low torque with hugely efficient top-end horsepower. All systems will ship with an oversized dual-pass air-to-water intercooler, integrated bypass valve, and fuel rail mounts. Vortech will include all the necessary belts, pulleys, and fasteners to make these a bolt-on deal for any supported application.

Meth Addict
The new Stage-3G Boost Cooler from Snow Performance may just be the most sophisticated and powerful methanol system on the planet. Using digital 3-dimensional control, the Stage-3G system incorporates a new injection management controller with special mapping that provides smooth power in both the mid-range and upper rpm. Since methanol helps cool the air charge and provides a nice octane benefit, this looks to be the best solution for anyone looking to make big power on pump gas. The new dash-mounted module will display boost, injector duty cycle, and injection pump output, which makes for a clean and functional install. You can get one of these systems (PN 20100) for under $700.

Get Your ACT Together
Making big power on the supercharged Cobalt is no problem, but (until now) getting it to the ground has been a bit of a challenge. With the new line of ACT street clutch kits for your `05-07 Cobalt SS, you can now hold 340 lb-ft of torque with a 33 percent increase of clamp load. Using an ACT heavy-duty pressure plate and organic street disc you will experience an increased pedal feel; smooth engagement; and improved, consistent performance. If you are more of a dedicated track racer, the ACT Race clutch kits with Cerametallic discs will hold up to 435 lb-ft and can be had with either four or six puck, sprung or un-sprung hubs. Every kit comes with an SFI-certified billet steel flywheel, pressure plate, your choice of clutch disc, and an alignment tool to make the install a breeze.
