With the piping back on the car and the Turbonetics NewGen HP wastegate in place, you can see how it all works. As exhaust gas exits the manifolds, it is fed towards the turbocharger and, depending on the wastegate’s valve position, enters the turbine housing and spins the wheel or enters the wastegate and bypasses the turbocharger completely. Note that the wastegate has priority in the system, which leads to excellent boost control and is referred to as, obviously, a wastegate priority system. View Related Article
