Everything else is fairly plug-and-play, identical to a regular LS1 motor. For this particular install, Vengeance Racing has converted the car to run as Speed Density (by removing the MAF sensor) and will tune it using a custom operating system burned on to the stock computer.

Owner and tuner, Mike Carnahan, uses EFI Live to set up and tune the stock PCM. Some special attention is paid in the VE table since this motor is quite different from the factory piece. At first start-up the Warhawk sounds absolutely wicked at idle, just like an old-school big block. Unfortunately, all that torque ripped through one of the baddest twin-disc clutches on the market before we could get our dyno numbers.
