A stupendously affordable option for budget-oriented and all-out LS builds alike are GM's L76/L92/LS3 rectangular-port cylinder heads. We've proven these heads to be solid performers time and again in the pages of GMHTP, but as if they weren't good enough, GMPP has teamed up with GM Racing to come up with a CNC-ported version, PN 88958698. We got our pair from SDPC (sans valvesprings and with optional Manley Pro Flo stainless valves, a fairly inexpensive upgrade-stock L92 valves are prone to breakage in certain applications) for just $642 per head!
