It's a good time to install our ZEX Power Racer spark plugs (PN 82071-8, $49) as by filling the spark plug holes in the heads, they'll allow compression to build in the cylinders and therefore help prevent the crank from turning. This is important now as we need to install our harmonic damper partway in order to help align the front cover to the block (its seal will cause the cover to self-center on the damper). Our damper of choice is Summit's PN SUM-C2500 Bracket Racer SFI Harmonic Damper. In addition to being very affordable at $170, it's also SFI 18.1 certified and even includes timing marks in case you're (yuck) using a distributor on your LS.
