There is a great amount of debate in the LS community over aftermarket wet-sump oil pans, and most will require work to clear a 4.100-inch stroke. The Canton Racing (PN 13-270A) 5.25-inch deep, 6.5-quart F-body aluminum pan we used was as nice as any we've seen with its "Trap Door Baffles" to keep the pickup submerged in oil.
