17 Before the snout assembly can be removed from the intake the throttle body, the purge solenoid, boost solenoid, and boost actuator have to be removed. Andy carefully scrawled around the two 10mm bolts that retained the bypass stop plate, although an LPE bypass actuator set tool would be used to reset the valve to generate more boost than the maximum of 10psi set from the factory. The snout assembly is retained by six bolts, which are removed with a 10mm socket. A small metal block was put under the supercharger to raise up the snout assembly while a small pry bar and rubber mallet are used to apply pressure to break the RTV seal. View Related Article
