[19]Next, lubricate the inside of the hose/socket assembly and the outside of the cutter threads on the nipple. Matt uses a special lubricant, but any type of assembly lube, anti-seize, or oil should work well. With the socket held tight, push the nipple into the socket until the threads can engage and then begin to tighten the assembly. View Related Article
