Rock And Roll
Looking to upgrade your valvetrain without adding a ton of weight and cost? Comp Cams has you covered with its new rocker arm trunion upgrade, which replaces the weak factory needle bearings and powdered metal trunion while keeping the lightweight and strong OEM arm. Not only does this make the unit stronger, but it also saves you from finding needle bearings in your oil pan, which is always a bad day. Comp has tested these for two years in the NASCAR GM LS spec engine series; proof of a well built and tested modification that won't leave you stranded.

Heavy Metal
Building an LT1 with a factory windage tray? ARP has just what you need in its newest Pro Series stud kit. PN 134-5502 will ship to you (or your builder) with seven main studs, three windage tray studs, ten washers and nuts, and six windage tray retaining nuts. Rated at 200,000 psi, these studs offer a 15 percent increase in tensile strength over stockers and should be considered no matter what your horsepower goals.

Locked On
If there is anything we hate, it is the sound of an exhaust leak. There is almost nothing more annoying than the slight tick coming from an almost unreachable header bolt. Luckily, Percy's High Performance decided to help out with its new line of Split-Lock friction lock fasteners. These install like any other traditional bolt, but once installed a quick twist on the set pin with a standard Allen wrench locks the bolt in place, making it almost impossible to loosen via vibration, heat, or time. Currently available for most GM applications, check these out before your next header install.

More Boost!
Trying to make big boost on a non-cogged supercharger setup? Check out Carbinite Racing's new line of Pro-Grip pulleys, which are supposed to eliminate belt slippage in both street and racing situations. Using a textured coating, these new pulleys have the ability to "microkey" the surface of a belt, which, according to an independent study, increases the coefficient of friction by 72 percent over a normal uncoated piece. Available for most Eaton, Vortech, ProCharger, and Paxton systems in 6-, 8-, and 10-rib configurations.

What's That Sound?
We may have possibly seen some behind the scenes engineering going on at ProCharger HQ months ago, but we can now officially announce its newest supercharger systems, available for the 2010 Camaro. The standard system makes about 45 percent more power than stock and ships complete with everything you need for a clean and sanitary install, including a large three-core air-to-air intercooler, ProFlow bypass valve, and a quality tuning solution. Still not enough power? ProCharger already offers a D-1SC head unit upgrade and will soon announce the addition of F-1 head units, which are capable of producing huge horsepower.

Pro-Touring Style
Harwood Industries has just announced its newest lineup of hoods; each independently styled to give your ride a sleek, Pro Touring look. Available for many classic GMs including third-gen Camaros (PN B-12107) and Monte Carlos (PN B-29107), they ship in either bolt-on or lift-off configurations. Harwood tells us that the bolt-on hoods feature a fully finished underside and install with the factory hinges and latches, which make these perfect for an easy, smooth install. If you are also looking for some clearance, the raised portion will give you up to 2.5 inches of additional height, great for a small blower or sheetmetal intake.
