With the shock removed, we turned our attention to replacing the old, worn ball joints. To gain access, you will have to remove the caliper and spindle. The first step is unbolting the caliper and sliding it out of the way. This is a good time to find some support for the lower control arm (such as a jack) prior to disconnecting the ball joints, so as not to make the spring a projectile leg-chopper. View Related Article
