Comparing the BMR crossmember (top) to the original part (bottom), the vertical plate on the much stronger tubular BMR part effectively decouples the torque arm from the transmission, transferring the load directly into the body, and offers the unique ability to adjust torque arm mount location to allow adjustments of the instant center.
