[14]As previously mentioned, the build plan also included a rollbar, which would be incorporated into the front diff mount. The fab’d mount is basically a three-sided box that bolts to the diff with a large piece of tubing welded to the top with poly bushings inside, and the rollbar has a saddle that fits over the mount on the diff. Originally this design didn’t allow enough clearance between the diff mount and the saddle, so the ring-and-pinion would howl through the rollbar until the diff warms up and the mount moves slightly. This was rectified by polishing the mount with a grinder to increase clearance. View Related Article
