With Bob satisfied with the roughed-in results, the final valve angles were cut. The intake valve used a 35-, 45-, 60-, 75-, and 82-degree angle to steer the air. Not your traditional "3-angle" auto parts store valve job. The exhaust port employed 37-, 45-, 52-, and 82-degree angles on a 5mm radius. Creating such intricate valve angles is where the cost is found to properly prepare a set of cylinder heads. This effort will pay dividends in low-lift flow numbers on both ports.
