Check out the Torque (blue) and Power (red) and compare the three lines on each graph. The lowest graph line is stock cam, heads, 58mm turbo. Middle line: roller cam, ported heads, 58mm turbo. Top line: roller cam, ported heads, 62mm turbo, Duttweiler neck intercooler. Initially when we switched to the roller cam with more duration (19/16 degrees at 0.050) it was normal to see peak torque move up the rpm scale (3,100 to 3,800 rpm), but it's not normal for horsepower to move down the rpm scale (4,500 to 4,000). At that, we knew our combination wasn't right. Now, with the well-matched package, peak torque moved down (from 3,800 to 3,500 rpm) and peak power moved up (4,000 to 4,800) to broaden the power range. This latest combination has enabled the GN to become a much better street driver. The additional power should get it down the strip quicker and pull it through the traps faster! Stay tuned.
